FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions about surveys in Ecuador

What is the difference between an online and an offline survey?

An online survey is answered digitally (CAWI). An offline survey is conducted in person (CAPI), with a mobile app that works without a connection and syncs the data afterwards. We choose the format according to the audience and the territory.

Do you conduct CAPI, CATI and CAWI surveys?

Yes. We conduct face-to-face (CAPI), telephone (CATI) and online (CAWI) surveys, and we can combine them in one study to broaden coverage.

How do you control data quality?

We program skip patterns and consistency rules, monitor fieldwork in real time and validate the dataset before delivering it ready for analysis.
